Complementary, temporary and roadworks signs
Temporary traffic lights at roadworks
The temporary triangular sign has a yellow background, red border and traffic-light symbol. It warns drivers that temporary traffic lights are operating at roadworks ahead, possibly to control traffic through a narrowed section. The central amber aspect may be shown flashing in the illustration. It can be used on urban and non-urban roads. It does not announce a STOP sign, an unguarded level crossing, a ferry landing or traffic lights controlling a lifting or swing bridge.
