Sharp-bend chevron board

The black-and-white chevron board is installed on or around a sharp bend to make its alignment and direction unmistakable, especially where visibility is limited. This version may follow a warning sign for a dangerous bend to the left. A red-and-white version can delineate a temporary alignment. It is not a general roadworks sign, a warning of hills and dips or a marker for an object projecting into the carriageway. The direction of the chevrons must be read carefully.
