Right-hand lane closed for roadworks

The yellow temporary lane diagram shows that the right-hand lane is closed for roadworks and must merge into the lane that remains open. A supplementary panel may give the distance to the closure. Drivers should prepare to merge safely and in good time. The sign does not authorise overtaking on the right, announce a U-turn interchange, identify an ordinary junction or mark a bus stopping bay.
