Keep-right panel on a roadworks vehicle

The square red-and-white chevron panel with a blue keep-right arrow may be mounted on a vehicle carrying out roadworks or maintenance while stationary or moving slowly on the carriageway. It warns drivers of the operating vehicle and shows the side on which they must pass it. In this figure, drivers pass to the right and reduce speed. The panel does not require an immediate right turn, close the right-hand lane, mark an overhanging load or require parking on the right.
