Roadworks

The temporary triangular sign with a yellow background and a worker warns that roadworks are in progress ahead. Drivers may encounter a work site, temporary deposits of material, machinery or personnel on or beside the carriageway. A supplementary panel may state the length of the works. The sign does not itself give priority to works vehicles or workers, announce alternating one-way traffic or require a U-turn. Any such instruction requires separate signs, signals or directions from authorised personnel.
