Border with another EU country

The blue panel bearing the circle of European Union stars and the name Italia identifies the Italian national border on a route between EU member countries. It is an information sign and does not by itself require drivers to stop. It is not a police checkpoint or a nationality plate to be attached to the rear of a vehicle, and it does not limit a vehicle to travelling in only one European country.
