Information signs
Roadside stopping bay on a non-urban road
The blue sign indicates a roadside bay set apart from the carriageway where vehicles can pull in and stop without remaining in the traffic lane. It may be accompanied by a distance panel when the bay is ahead. It does not announce a general widening of the carriageway, impose a three-hour parking limit, identify a campsite or mark a bus stop.
