Route to reach a road on the left
The panel uses a simplified street plan and an arrow to show the route for reaching a road on the left. The driver does not turn left immediately at the sign, but follows the route around the block as shown. It represents a recommended or prescribed route made necessary by the local traffic layout, not merely an immediate mandatory-left instruction. Depending on the other signs, drivers at that point may continue straight ahead or turn right.
