The information sign shows a stylised tunnel entrance. A green background indicates the motorway context. Drivers should increase their attention, maintain a safe following distance and comply with the rules that apply in tunnels. During a prolonged stop in a tunnel, switch off the engine. Stopping and parking are prohibited except in permitted or emergency circumstances, and drivers should hold the steering wheel firmly when leaving if crosswinds are possible. The sign does not itself indicate an unlit tunnel, roadworks, a road closure or a 3.5-metre height restriction.
