SOS roadside-assistance device

The red square sign marked SOS identifies an emergency device or call point from which road users can request roadside assistance after a breakdown or emergency. It does not indicate a hospital zone, an ordinary public telephone, an ambulance parking area or a school. Its purpose is specifically connected with obtaining help on the road.
