Information signs
School bus or school-bus stop
The orange panel shows two schoolchildren carrying school bags. When installed at the edge of the pavement, it may identify a stop used by school buses. When displayed on a bus, it indicates that the vehicle is carrying schoolchildren. Drivers should anticipate children emerging from behind the bus or crossing unexpectedly after alighting. The panel does not prohibit unaccompanied children, indicate public gardens or create an unconditional right of way for children who are not crossing in accordance with the rules.
