Name of the river crossed by a bridge

The information sign displays a wave symbol and the words fiume Arno. It is placed on or near a bridge and identifies the watercourse crossed by the road. Its function is purely informative. It does not warn that the road floods in rain, of waves breaking over the road, of water-skiing facilities or of a series of bends.
