Advance sign for a temporary diversion to Novara

The yellow temporary sign warns of a diversion and shows the alternative route to follow towards Novara. It is used when the normal road is interrupted, for example by roadworks. The lower panel states that the diversion itself is 2 kilometres long. The sign does not mean that Novara is unreachable, require drivers to turn back, identify a parking bay or indicate roadworks extending for 2 kilometres. The distance refers specifically to the length of the diversion.
