Taxi rank

The image shows an orange rectangular panel bearing the word TAXI. In the driving-theory questions it identifies a taxi rank: an area reserved for taxis in service to wait for passengers. The area may also be marked with yellow lines and the word TAXI on the road surface. It is not an overtaking restriction for taxis, a road closed to taxis, a taxi-call device, a radio station or a private garage. The panel is not internally illuminated; it simply identifies the reserved taxi area.
