State road SS 2
The blue panel marked SS 2 identifies Italian state road number 2. SS is the abbreviation for strada statale, or state road. The panel can be incorporated into direction and junction signs to identify the route to follow. The number is not a distance of 2 kilometres and the panel does not indicate parking bays, a slippery or narrow section, or a no-through road.
