Motorway route-confirmation sign with distances

The green sign is a motorway route-confirmation sign. It lists destinations that can be reached by continuing on the motorway and gives the remaining distance to each one: Florence 180 km, Bologna 285 km and Milan 472 km. A blue version would be used on a non-urban road rather than a motorway. The sign does not mean that all three destinations are reached by taking the first exit, and the numbers are distances in kilometres rather than road or exit numbers.
