Traffic officer facing the driver with arms outstretched: stop

The image shows a traffic officer with both arms extended horizontally across the direction from which the driver is approaching. For a driver facing the officer's chest or back, this position has the same meaning as a red traffic light. The driver must stop before the transverse stop line and may not cross the junction or turn right or left. It is not permissible to pass cautiously, sound the horn to attract the officer's attention, or turn merely because the vehicle will not continue straight ahead.
