Traffic lights and traffic officers' signals

Cycle traffic lights

These traffic lights display a bicycle symbol in each aspect and control crossings reserved for cyclists, often where a cycle track crosses or joins a road. Red requires cyclists to stop; steady amber requires those who have not yet entered to stop if they can do so safely, while anyone already in the junction must clear it promptly; green permits cyclists to cross. The signal does not announce a cycle race or works on a cycle track, and it does not mark a lane for mopeds or motorcycles.
