Mandatory signs
Pedestrian path
This blue circular sign showing a pedestrian marks the start of a path or route reserved for pedestrians. It is a mandatory sign and reserves the path for pedestrians at all times. It does not indicate a pedestrian crossing, prohibit pedestrians or itself require drivers to give way as crossing signs and markings do. Ordinary vehicles may not use the path as a roadway unless a specific exception is shown.
