Pass left

This blue circular sign has a white arrow sloping down to the left. It requires drivers to pass to the left of an obstruction, traffic island, pedestrian refuge island, central reservation or roadworks. The sign specifies which side of the obstruction to use, so the obstruction remains on the vehicle's right. It does not require a left turn at a junction, give advance warning of a junction or act as an information sign.
