Turn right or left

This blue sign indicates that the only permitted directions at the next junction are right and left. Traffic may not continue straight ahead. It is a mandatory-direction sign. The two arrows offer a choice between the two turns; they do not indicate two traffic queues, permission to overtake on either side, two-way traffic or a traffic island that may be passed on either side.
