End of no stopping and no parking on the preceding section

The no-stopping sign is combined with a downward vertical arrow. The arrow shows that the restriction applied to the preceding section and ends at the sign. In the theory test, the combination marks the end of the prohibition on stopping and parking, or confirms that it applied to the section just travelled. It does not mark the start of the restriction. Read the arrow as defining the extent of the no-stopping rule on the main sign.
