Prohibitory signs
Maximum height 3.50 metres
This circular prohibition sign has a red border, two vertical arrowheads and '3.50 m'. It gives the maximum overall height, measured from the road surface, of vehicles allowed to pass. A vehicle whose total height, including its load, exceeds 3.50 metres is prohibited. The sign may be used inside or outside built-up areas, for example before a bridge or another low-clearance structure. It does not concern vehicle length, following distance or the height of a load measured from the load bed.
