Prohibitory signs
Maximum width 2.30 metres
This sign prohibits vehicles wider than 2.30 metres, including non-motorised vehicles. It may be placed before a narrow section; a vehicle or vehicle combination exactly 2.30 metres wide may pass. The horizontal arrows show that the measurement concerns overall width. It is not a following distance and does not simply state the physical width of the road ahead.
