No vehicles carrying water pollutants

This sign prohibits vehicles carrying substances that could contaminate water. Vehicles carrying non-polluting products, water tankers and road-sprinkling vehicles may pass. It does not warn of flooding or water on the carriageway. The restriction protects water resources from loads whose escape could cause contamination; it applies to the substance carried, including when it is on a trailer.
