No motor vehicles with three or more wheels

This prohibition sign showing a car prohibits Italian-category autoveicoli and other motor vehicles with three or more wheels, including motor tricycles and motor quadricycles. The latter do not thereby become part of the legal autoveicoli category; they are separate categories covered by the sign. The prohibition is not limited to cars without catalytic converters or to taxis. Motorcycles, two-wheeled mopeds and non-motorised vehicles may pass unless another restriction applies. Buses, lorries, motor tricycles and motor quadricycles may not pass.
