Maximum speed limit of 80 km/h

This regulatory sign showing 80 prohibits exceeding 80 km/h from the point where it is placed. It may also be used on a motorway and applies to motorcycles as well. The number is not an 80-metre following distance and is not merely an advisory speed. The limit applies immediately and may not be exceeded while overtaking.
