Prohibitory signs
No entry
This red circular sign with a horizontal white bar means no entry: vehicles may not enter from the side where it is placed, although the road may be accessible from the other end. Unless an exception is expressly shown, the restriction also applies to non-motorised vehicles, taxis, mopeds, motorcycles and quadricycles. It is commonly seen at the prohibited end of a one-way road. Do not confuse it with the 'no vehicles' sign: no entry controls access from one direction rather than prohibiting all circulation along the road.
