Traffic signals ahead with horizontal lights

This warning sign indicates traffic lights arranged horizontally ahead. Reduce speed so that you can stop if necessary. In Italian theory tests, the sign is normally placed 150 metres before the traffic lights. The yellow disc in the symbol may be replaced by a flashing amber light, but the equivalent statement is not true for the red disc. The sign does not warn of a police roadblock, opening bridge, level crossing, reversible lanes, cycle crossing or snowploughs.
