Soft or dangerous verge

This triangular sign shows a car near the right-hand edge with material giving way beneath it. It warns of a soft, unusable or otherwise dangerous verge. Do not drive too close to the right-hand edge because the vehicle could drop into a roadside ditch or lose stability as the verge gives way. The sign does not indicate an uneven road, loose chippings, flooding or a quayside.
