This triangular warning sign has a red border and black exclamation mark. It indicates a danger not represented by a specific warning sign and calls for particular care. In an emergency it may be used without a supplementary plate to warn of an unspecified danger. It does not by itself indicate a steep ascent, an uneven road or a requirement to continue straight ahead; specific signs exist for those meanings. Reduce speed and look for a supplementary plate or visible circumstances that clarify the hazard.
