Area at risk of fire

This triangular sign showing a tree and a flame warns that the roadside area or woodland has a high fire risk. Avoid any behaviour that could start a fire, particularly throwing a lit cigarette end from the vehicle. A supplementary plate may show the length of the affected section. The sign does not prohibit vehicles carrying flammable or explosive materials; such restrictions use different signs.
