Falling rocks from the right

This triangular sign shows a rock face on the right with rocks falling towards the carriageway. It warns of falling rocks from the right and of debris that may already be on the road. Reduce speed so that you can avoid fallen rocks and allow for sudden braking by vehicles ahead. The sign does not indicate a slippery road, narrowing on the right, an unpaved road, soft verges or hail.
