Quayside or riverbank

This triangular sign shows a car at risk of falling from an unprotected edge into water. It warns that the road leads onto a quay, wharf, riverbank or canal bank. Take particular care, especially at night and when reversing. The sign warns of the risk of entering the water. It does not indicate an opening bridge, a viaduct under construction or a road closed because of flooding.
