Warning signs
Slippery road when wet
Sign A shows a skidding car and supplementary plate B shows rain. Together they warn that the road surface is particularly slippery when wet. The plate identifies the condition in which the hazard is most likely. Reduce speed, increase the following distance and avoid sudden braking, acceleration or steering. The restriction is linked to rain rather than being a general description of every weather condition. Read the warning sign and supplementary plate together.
