Advance warning of a cycle crossing

This triangular sign showing a cyclist gives advance warning of a cycle crossing, normally before the point where cyclists cross the carriageway. Reduce speed so that you do not endanger cyclists. It is not placed at the crossing itself and does not indicate a cycle track running alongside the road. For the theory test, remember that the triangle warns of a hazard ahead. A supplementary plate may specify the distance, length or conditions of the hazard.
