Warning signs
Countdown markers and single St Andrew's cross
The three panels marked A, carrying three, two and one red diagonal stripe, mark the approach to the level crossing and are encountered before it. Single St Andrew's cross B identifies a level crossing without barriers with one railway track and stands immediately before the tracks. Drivers therefore encounter the countdown markers first and the St Andrew's cross near the crossing.
