Double St Andrew's cross

The double St Andrew's cross stands immediately before a level crossing without barriers when the railway has more than one track. In the theory test, stop before the stop line when a train is approaching and remember that another train may follow on a different track. The sign is not normally placed 150 metres in advance and does not indicate a road junction. Approach slowly, look and listen carefully, and do not cross until every track is clear.
