Warning signs
St Andrew's cross for a single-track level crossing
This red-and-white St Andrew's cross indicates a single railway track and stands immediately before a level crossing without barriers, after the advance warning sign. It may be mounted vertically or horizontally. It does not indicate multiple tracks or a four-way road junction, and it is not normally placed 150 metres from the tracks: it stands close to the railway crossing.
