Keep junctions and crossings clear in congested traffic

Do not enter a junction unless there is enough space to clear it, even when you have priority or a green light. When queues form, level crossings, tram tracks, pedestrian crossings and cycle crossings must also be left clear. This prevents traffic from blocking routes used by other road users or trapping a vehicle in a dangerous position.
