Passenger cars carry no more than nine people including the driver
A passenger car belongs to the motor-vehicle class and has four wheels. It is designed to carry people and may have no more than nine seats in total, including the driver's seat. Its classification does not depend on whether it has front or rear-wheel drive or where the engine is fitted.
